Our hazelnuts

To craft a truly unique leavened masterpiece, choosing top-quality ingredients isn’t enough, you need to understand them, respect them, love them. And of all the ingredients, it’s the hazelnut that tells the most profound story.

The Albertengo family grows its own hazelnuts at the “San Giorgio le Violette” farm, founded in 2012 in Levice, in the heart of the Alta Langa. Here, among sun-kissed hills and ancient silences, the hazelnuts grow, nourished by the wind and the generosity of the land.

Albertengo’s hazelnuts, harvested at full ripeness and stone-ground, retain all their natural aroma and fragrance. This traditional process gives life to the glaze of the “Selezione Piemonte”: delicate, crisp, and rich in flavor. An authentic tribute to the pastry tradition and the land of the Langhe.

Whole hazelnuts, on the other hand, become precious decorations: little crunchy gems that enhance every bite with the unmistakable flavor of the Langhe. At Albertengo, excellence is not a destination but a living tradition: knowledge passed down with care, a gesture of love renewed every single day.
